Australia's first Electoral Office                                   Enrolling the People home

This is the structure of Australia's first national post-federation electoral office, created for the 1903 election. It was provided by the Secretary of the Department of Home Affairs, on a large piece of paper, to a Select Committee in 1904¹.Each quarter of the picture below links to portion of larger picture (about 800kb).  (Click on diagram for larger image.)
